PURPOSE:To prevent a copy image from being changed at its density by providing the titled device with a non-volatile memory for storing the degree of fatigue generated up to the end of the preceding copy as compressed information and allowing the device to read out the degree of fatigue from the memory at the start of copying and determine an initial correcting value for compensating the fatigue in a suspending time updated and stored in the memory. CONSTITUTION:Although inconvenience may be remarkably generated when copying operation is continued under always the same condition, the fatigue is recovered in accordance with a stopping period at the time of stopping the use. Thereby, the fatigue is compensated by correcting the charging value or exposure amount. Since the degree of fatigue is determined based on the degree of fatigue generated up to the end of the preceding copying operation, the suspending period from the end of copying up to the start of correct copying and the current copying time, the correcting value may be controlled under the consideration of these factors. |
