PURPOSE:To avoid the malfunctions and destruction of a power supply circuit and an interface circuit by connecting both circuits only when a card module is correctly attached to an electronic equipment and giving a proper form to the connector of the electronic equipment to which a connector part of the card module is attached. CONSTITUTION:A connector 5 of an electronic equipment 8 has a projecting part 5a which is matched with a chamfering part 1a of a memory card 1. The terminal positions of both connectors 3 and 5 are not matched with each other when the card 1 is loaded to the equipment 8 in case the card 1 is not proper to the equipment 8. Thus the normal attachment of the card 1 is impossible. When the card 1 is adversely inserted, the part 1a of the card 1 is not matched with the part 5a of the connector 5. Thus the normal attachment is impossible either for the card 1. As a result, it is possible to avoid the malfunctions and the circuit destruction due to the collision of the output signals. |
