PURPOSE:To enable the sliding bearing in the caption to endure a high load and to be capable of making an automatic alignment for the inclination of a support shaft center by the projecting shaft of a sliding bearing piece in an housing supported by means of a supporting notch of a central piece, thereby having the shaft projected from the notch, and engagingly holding the projecting shaft by means of front and rear pieces. CONSTITUTION:In a plate which forms a main body 2', a central piece 3 is formed such that pairs of lateral notches 5' are arranged symmetrically in cross shapes on the right and left sides of the central part of respective receiving/supporting notches 5 and while the pairs of notches 5' allow the shaft pins 11 of a bearing piece 10 at fit therein to serve as a supporter at the time of assembling. Further, a sub-piece 3' has also the notches 5 for receiving and supporting the bearing piece 10, while each block-shaped slide bearing piece 10 is additionally provided with the shaft pin 11 penetrating laterally through the intermediate part thereof. In addition, it is possible to adopt a guide shaft or a guide rail as a bearing 1 serving to support a circular shaft 21, and to adopt the shaft 21 as a support bearing in not only an axial direction but also in a rotational direction by forming a slide bearing pieces 10'' whose bearing slide support faces 12'' formed in a recessed circular shape so as to hold the bearing 21 its three slides. The automatic alignment can thus be attained in this type of bearing.
