PURPOSE:To reduce overspeed or deceleration and keep constant-speed character istic, by setting a means for returning generation current generated at a motor section at the time of overspeed or deceleration. CONSTITUTION:To a DC power source 1, the circuit of a power transistor 2 controlling pulse width modulation, a coil 3, a motor 4, and a current detection resistor 5 which are connected in series is connected; to both ends of the motor 4, a capacitor 6 is connected. Besides, to the series circuit of the coil 3, the motor 4, and the resistor 5, a diode 7 is connected in parallel with each other. By a comparator 11, current signal V9 and speed feedback voltage V4 are com pared with each other, and the power transistor 2 is ON/OFF-controlled. As a result, a simple, low-loss, and high stable constant-speed control DC motor system at the time of over-speed and deceleration can be realized.
