PURPOSE:To make choice of an arbitrary slit step with the same circuit and enable slit driving to be performed at a desired step angle, by changing slit number setting signal for input to an address arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:From an address arithmetic circuit 11, address signal AD is outputted through advancing command pulse, rotational direction input signal, step number setting signal N, and slit number setting signal M. With the address arithmetic circuit 11, by changing the split number setting signal M applied to a second adding or subtracting unit, the address signal AD controlling desired split driving with the same circuit is formed. The address signal AD is inputted to a first exciting current value setting signal forming circuit 16 and a second exciting current value setting signal forming circuit 17 to drive a stepping motor 2. |
