PURPOSE:To enable detection of choking of a suction filter, by a method wherein, at the start of operation, 8 fan is run at a maximum output, and from the number of revolutions, a choking state is judged to control combustion. CONSTITUTION:When an operation switch closed during the use of a burner 1, a controller 8 first causes a fan 7 to rotate at a maximum output. When a filter 3 is choked, the number of revolutions of the fan 7 is increased compared with that in a choking-free state. Namely, as a result of a blast pressure in a passage, running from a suction port 2 to the fan 7, being reduced, the number of revolutions of the fan 7 is increased compared with that in a choking- free state. Thus, from the number of revolutions of the fan 7, the choking state of the filter 3 is judged: when the filter is so heavily choked that replacement of the filter is needed, the controller 8 outputs a signal to a combustion controller 9. When the filter 3 is not choked, the fan 7 maintains a specified number of revolutions to set the burner in an ignition process. |
