PURPOSE:To simplify the connecting work and make unsatisfactory connection hard to occur by elastically pinching a rear glass with a reed electrode made of memory alloy. CONSTITUTION:A reed electrode 25 is made of Ni titanium alloy wire rod of Ni 54-56wt.%, one end is folded as a circuit connecting section 25a, the other end is used as a display connecting section 25b, and the reed electrode 25 is heated at 500 deg.C in the Al atmosphere and quickly cooled to memorize its shape. Next, the connecting section 25a is separated from the main body 25 more than the thickness of a rear glass 21 at the normal temperature, the reed electrode 25 is fitted around the side edge 21c (21d) or the rear glass at a folded section 25c, and the connecting section 25b is welded to the segment of a display body or the electrode on the surface 21a of the rear glass. The connecting section 25a faces the circuit electrode 27 of the component face 21 of the rear glass. When the connecting section 25a is heated, the electrode 25 resumes its shape, and the connecting section 25a is elastically brought into contact with the electrode 27. The reliability of connection is secured by soldering 28. |
