PURPOSE:To make it sure to release a latent heat accumulating material super-cooling without accompanying deterioration heat accumulating material by forming a coolant channel which brings/the coolant in a cylinder in contact with the latent heat accumulating material directly or indirectly with the cylinder connected to a heat accumulating tank. CONSTITUTION:A connector 6 is connected to an electric power source for a heater and then the heater 5 is energized. When a latent heat accumulating material 4 is heated up to the temperature of phase transformation through a vessel 2 and then it is left as it is, it is held at a temperature above the limit temperature of super-cooling by an insulation tank 3 and holds the latent heat in the state of super-cooling. As soon as a coolant which is in the liquid state in a cylinder 8 is discharged from a valve 12, it expands until it reaches the atmospheric pressure, and flows into a metal pipe 13 via a valve 14. At this time the coolant evaporates and its temperature drops to cool the latent heat accumulating material 4 in a heat accumulating tank 1 through the metal pipe 13. If a coolant of which its boiling point is lower than the limit temperature of super-cooling of the heat accumulating material 4 is used, the heat accumulating material 4 has temperature below the limit temperature of the super-cooling and is released of super-cooling to solidify. And, this action spreads to the whole of the heat accumulating material to cause it to release the heat that is held. |
