PURPOSE:To reduce the size of an equipment by elongating each of exhaust pipes at the lower side thereof to connect to the inside of an expansion chamber and mounting a single valve which controls the exhaust flow passage areas of those exhaust pipes at the open side thereof. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust pipes 20 and 22 are elongated at the lower side thereof to connect to the inside of an expansion chamber 24. And the open ends of those exhaust pipes 20 and 22 are set close to each other. A single exhaust control valve 34 which integrally controls the open end areas of the exhaust passages is disposed inside the expansion chamber 24. The exhaust control valve is thus placed inside the expansion chamber in the naturally necessary position so that the mounting space is unnecessary and the entire size of the equipment may be reduced.
