A support assembly for an active device on the rim of a motor vehicle wheel with watertight communication through the rim providing communication with the interior of the tyre, characterised in that it includes : - on the one hand, an annular seal (50) designed to engage a hole (11) passing through the rim and incorporating a cap (90) which initially obstructs the central passage through the seal and - on the other hand, a support for the active device (100) provided with a barrel (110) designed to open the cap (90) in the seal (50) when it is inserted into the central passage thereof, and which incorporates means (117) for clipping the barrel (110) in the central passage through the seal. |
