The invention relates to a transportable, dismantleable, lightweight construction of the camping tent type, comprising a main support structure 10 and at least one covering forming the roof 11 and walls 12. According to a principal arrangement, the structure 10 is organised so as to form, in the erected state, a chimney-head support 1025, a hearth support 1022, a table support 1021 and a seat support 1011. The invention finds a principal application in the production of shelters used in camping.
