PURPOSE:To improve battery performance while bettering linkage of a corrosive layer and an active material layer by specificly controlling pressing adhesion pressure of an active material layer and a collector when forming a plate by pressing adhesion of the active material layer to one side of a plate collector. CONSTITUTION:An anode active material 2 and a cathode active material 4 are pressing-adhered so as to bury reticular substances 6 in one side respectively of a plate collector for anode 1 and a plate collector for cathode 5 while controlling said pressing adhesion pressure not less than 2P Si and not exceeding 8P Si and interposing a separator 3 therebetween to be housed into a battery jar for forming a small-sized thin lead battery. Accordingly, the linkage of a corrosive layer and an active material layer on the collector surface to be produced by charging operation at the time of conversion treatment can be strengthened by controlling the pressing adhesion pressure between the collectors 1, 5 and the active material layers 2, 4, thus improving battery performance. |
