Integral exchanger tube plate

The ends of multiple heat exchanger tubes are sealingly embedded in connector stubs passing through a tube plate from incoming and outgoing elongated tubular sections of a header-tank. The two sections together with the tube plate form an integral pressing, e.g. of polyamide, and may be continued beyond the tube plate to form connector end pieces for hoses. The header tank cavities may be cylindrical or conical, and merge together in V-form. The entire header tank lies above the plane of the tube plate whose projecting edges incorporate apertures for screws by which the tube plates are fixed in a housing, with correct alignment ensured by projecting flanges on the tube side of the tube plate.
