PURPOSE:To facilitate inputting of an abstract and to improve inputting speed by recognizing a sounded word and fetching a character string corresponding to the recognized result to the abstract. CONSTITUTION:When data is inputted from a keyboard 2, it is displayed on a CRT 4. When a request for recognizing a sound is executed from a microphone 8, a sound recognizing part 7 inputs the sound and detects that a sounding is executed from an operator, and then, a sound pattern in a sound data memory 9 is compared with a sounded sound pattern, when they coincide, the sound recognizing part 7 responds to the number of the sound pattern of the memory 9. When a slip input device 6 receives the recognized result, a corresponding abstract table 9 is retrieved in an abstract converting part 10 to convert to the abstract character string, synthesize with an inputted abstract character string and store in a memory 13 for inputting the abstract. |
