摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate a process that an electrical signal depending on the hydrogen ion concentration potential is controlled through feedback to be applied to a charging control system by using all electrode which detects the varying hydrogen ion concentration in electrolyte accompanied by charging condition of a battery. CONSTITUTION:A battery charging sensor is composed of a standard electrode comprising Ag-AgCl electrode 6 and a polymer-coated sensor electrode 1. The polymer-coated sensor electrode 1 forms an electrode part composed of an internal layer 2, which comprises cellulose triacetate containing phosphomolybdic acid, and an external layer 3, which surrounds the internal layer 2 coating with vinyl chloride resin, so that the hydrogen ion concentration in highly acidic region is readily detected. By the arrangement, the hydrogen ion concentration of highly acidic electrolyte is readily detected, end, therefore, the charged state in correlation with the hydrogen ion is readily detected, so that the sensor is applied to a changing control system which conducts charging depending on the charged state of battery.
