PURPOSE:To obtain a composition providing molded articles having excellent surface characteristics, improved flexural strength and high heat distortion, by blending a specific thermoplastic resin with a styrenic resin, polyphenylene ether resin, etc. CONSTITUTION:(A) 5-95wt.% thermoplastic resin which contains at least one polar group selected from carboxyl group, hydroxyl group and amino group at the end and has 150-300 deg.C melting point is blended with (B) 0.01-50wt.% styrenic resin containing epoxy group, (C) 95-5wt.% polyphenylene ether resin containing an unsaturated carboxylic acid or unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative component, (D) 0-90wt.% polyphenylene ether resin containing no said unsaturated carboxylic acid or unsaturated acid derivative component and (E) 0-90wt.% styrenic resin containing no epoxy group.
