NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R1 is 3-21C alkyl; n is 2 or 3). EXAMPLE:1-Palmitoyl-2-(3-carboxypropionyl)-3-glycerophosphorylcholine. USE:Pharmacologically and industrially useful. The aimed compound can be obtained in high yield and purity in a few steps by using a readily available raw material. PREPARATION:A 1-monoacyl-3-glycerophosphorylcholine expressed by formula II, e.g. 1-butyl-3-glycerophosphorylcholine, etc., is reacted with a dibasic acid anhydride expressed by formula III, e.g. succinic anhydride, etc., in the presence of an organic basic compound, preferably pyridine (derivative), preferably in an aprotic polar solvent, e.g. DMF, etc. |
