The invention relates to a holding device or binding for a shoe on an alpine surfing device, an alpine surfing device (1) consisting of two skis connected via a scissor-type linkage arrangement (4), and a standing board (5) being placed on the scissor-type linkage arrangement (4) and connected thereto so that, when the standing board (5) is tilted transversely to the skiing direction, the skis (2, 3) are set on edge. According to the invention, a heel loop (11, 12) is proposed in each case, in addition to a front foot loop (9, 10), with a curvature in the plane of the standing board, this being produced from flexible material and being adjustable in its length or curvature so that slipping out from the foot loop is prevented. As a result, not only is improved grip achieved for higher speeds and more difficult terrain, but also easy release for safety reasons is guaranteed. <IMAGE>
