PURPOSE:To perform sheet feeds at two positions with one motor by providing sheet feed gears each assembled with a one-way clutch at two positions and changing the rotating direction of the sheet feed motor. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet feed motor 1 is rotated in the arrow direction, the first sheet feed gear 2 is rotated in the direction E, and the second sheet feed gear 3 is rotated in the direction F. Then, only the first sheet feed roller is rotated by the action of one-way clutches 4, 5, and only the sheet feed from the first sheet feed unit is performed. Next, when the sheet feed motor 1 is rotated in the arrow direction D, the first sheet feed gear 2 is rotated in the direction F, and the second sheet feed gear 3 is rotated in the direction E. Then, only the second sheet feed roller is rotated by the action of the one-way clutches 4, 5, and only the sheet feed from the second sheet feed unit is performed. Accordingly, sheet feeds at two positions can be performed by one motor.
