Adjusting device for a vehicle sunroof, particularly a spoiler roof, which has at least one panel for optionally closing or at least partially uncovering a roof opening in a fixed roof surface of a vehicle. The adjusting device has two setback hinges arranged on both sides of the panel, two guide rails extending on both sides of the roof opening and along each of which a slide is guided displaceably, and a lifting device which is fitted between the particular slide and the associated setback hinge and is intended for hinging out the panel when the slide is slid back. The lifting device has a front and a rear slotted guide for raising and lowering the front panel part by a smaller amount and the rear panel part by a larger amount. A locking element, which can be moved along the guide rail, has a blocking part which can be brought into engagement with an abutment on the guide rail and is disengaged from the abutment by pushing back the slide after hinging out the panel by means of an operating device cooperating with the locking element and the slide. Fitted between the locking element and the front part of the setback hinge is a guide element which is situated behind the front edge of the panel and during the lifting and lowering movements of the setback hinge restricts the longitudinal movement of the latter. <IMAGE>
