In an apparatus for pneumatic stowing in underground mining, especially for the pneumatic backfilling of headway timbering by means of a fine-grained to pulverulent material, for which an intermediate bunker with conveyor and metering sluice with worm conveyance and a pneumatic conveying line are provided, the worm conveyance at the metering sluice serving for separating off the pressure of the conveying line from the intermediate bunker, provision is made, according to the invention, for the conveying members of the intermediate-bunker conveyance and of the metering sluice to be separated and for arranging the separating point in a retaining space which is constantly under the intermediate-bunker pressure and in which takes place a build-up of the discharge of the intermediate-bunker conveyance which forms the delivery of the metering-sluice worm conveyance, the conveying resistance of which serves for controlling the conveying speed of the intermediate-bunker conveyance.
