This sighting device consists of a stand (2) on which an inclinometer (3) having a circular-arc-shaped scale (12) with inclination marks in degrees and/or per cent is arranged rotatably about its axis (4) and blockable. The upper straight-line edge (6) of the inclinometer (3) is extended in the direction away from the axis (4) on both sides of the pivot point (axis 4). In the axis (4), a plumb line (5) is also attached which points to the zero mark (13) identified on the scale (12) in the horizontal position of the inclinometer top edge (6). In the two end areas of the top edge (6) of the inclinometer (3), a sighting mark (8, 9) with sighting points (17, 18) is in each case arranged. <IMAGE>
