The sprinkler device, which has at least two triggering elements and at least one sprinkler, is constructed in such a manner that no extinguishing medium emerges from the individual sprinkler(s) without a fire-specific parameter being available from the fire-extinguishing installation, if only one of the triggering elements is defective. The defectiveness of one triggering element can be detected by inspection or by providing an electric circuit arrangement assigned to each sprinkler, which is electrically connected to a central alarm point.
