MEASURING ANTI-DNA ANTIBODIES

A method and assay kit for measuring anti-DNA antibody titres in biological fluids by an immunological method using a dsDNA label free of ssDNA fragments, wherein the dsDNA label is prepared by recombinant DNA techniques and having a constant length of a well defined kbp and a given specific activity and that such labeled dsDNA be used as the tracer in said immunological method.
