PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of plateout and dirt on a nozzle even through continuous operation for a long period of time and obtain a molded item with constant quality by a method wherein a nozzle for plastic injection molder consisting of ceramics containing a specified amount of zirconia is used. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle for plastic injection molder consisting of ceramics containing 40 wt. % or more of zirconia is used. A nozzle, the whole body of which is made of ceramic, or a nozzle, of which only a part coming into contact with plastic is made of ceramics containing 40 wt. % or more of zirconia and the remaining part being made as a metallic case supporting said ceramic member by shrink fitting, adhesion, caulking or the like, may be acceptable. In addition, when the content of zirconia exceeds 40 wt. %, the non-affinity of zirconia to plastic is maintained, resulting in reducing the troubles due to plateout and dirt. |
