PURPOSE:To reduce possibility that an error invades and to accelerate a processing, by obtaining a low-order bit by directly amplifying the voltage of a common connection terminal of a capacitance array at the time of finishing A/D conversion by an electric charge comparison type A/D converter. CONSTITUTION:A digital output of high-order n-bits can be obtained by using the electric charge comparison type A/D converter 104 of n-bits. Afterwards, the voltage of the common connection terminals of the capacitance arrays C-C4 of the electric charge comparison type A/D converter is amplified 105 by 2<n> times, and a digital output of m-bits can be obtained by using an all parallel type A/D converter 106 of m-bits. And the output of n-bits of the electric charge comparison type A/D converter 104 is set as high-order bits, and the output of m-bits of the all parallel type A/D converter 106 is set as the low-order bits, then, the digital output of (n+m)-bits can be obtained.
