PURPOSE:To aim at reducing the running resistance of a cushion solid tire fitted onto the outer periphery of a rim by forming annular grooves in the outer peripheral surface of the tire in the circumferential direction of the latter so as to reduce the ground contact area of the tire. CONSTITUTION:A bicycle frame 1 is composed of a pair of front forks 2, a pair of handles 3, a transverse frame 4 and a seat pillar 5. In this arrangement, cushion solid tires 6b, 7b are fitted on the rims 6a, 7a of front and rear wheels 6, 7, respectively. Further, circumferential annular grooves 6c, 7c are formed in the center section of the outer peripheral surface of the cushion solid tires 6b, 7b so as to reduce the ground contact areas of the latter. Therefore, the ground contact areas of the tires are reduced so as to decrease the running resistance thereof. Further, it is possible to prevent the tire from repulsing a pebble or from being repulsed by a pebble.
