PURPOSE:To save time by intermitting the data writing when detecting a fault of power supply during data writing, and storing information of write command from a CPU to restore the data immediately. CONSTITUTION:When detecting a power failure during write to a magnetic disk, a magnetic disk processing circuit 120 drives a data transfer circuit 110 before the power supply hits or fails to intermit the data write and stores the information of write command to a nonvolatile storage element 130. The circuit 120 receives a read command of a data from the magnetic disk through a line 202 from a central processing unit after reapplication of power circuit, then the circuit 120 drives the circuit 110 to send the data read from the line 201 from the disk device to the central processing unit. Moreover, the read data and the information of write command extracted from the element 130 are compared and when they are coincident, the read command to the data intermitted by power failure is informed to the central processing unit.
