发明名称 MULTI-COLOR RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform multi-color recording with satisfactory color fractions requiring no temperature fractions by providing a thermal color unit layer which develops a different color and contains a diazo compound and a coupler as coloring components in a transparent support, while providing a pressure-sensitive layer which develops a different color on another thermal color unit layer. CONSTITUTION:More than two thermal color unit layers 1, 3 which contain a diazo compound and a coupler as coloring components and develop different colors are provided on both sides of a transparent support 2. Further, a pressure-sensitive layer 4 which develops a color different from those of either one of the thermal color layer is provided on either one of the thermal color unit layers. After thermally recording in a thermal layer beneath the pressure sensitive layer 4, the diazo compound of the thermal layer is optically fixed using a light source of specific wavelength which optically decomposes the diazo compound. Next, the thermal layer and the pressure sensitive layer can be isolated independently, if recording is made in the pressure sensitive layer. When more than two thermal layers are laminated, temperature fractions during recording are required and this makes the procedure complicated. However when only three different colors are used, multi-color recording with superior color fractions is performed easily without temperature fractions. Each color unit layer should preferably be transparent in order to obtain a sharper color.
