摘要 A deep-frozen poultry carcass is provided before cooking with a passage which extends all the way through the said carcass and is formed by pulling an expansion element out of the frozen poultry carcass, which element is inserted before freezing of the freshly slaughtered and gutted poultry carcass into the body opening and through the body cavity of the said carcass. The passage permits transfixion by a roasting spit, so that the deep-frozen meat can be cooked without previous defrosting.
