<p>PURPOSE:To control a thermal distribution in the longitudinal direction of rolling rolls and to control a sheet shape by segmenting the inside part of the rolls by vertical planes to the roll shaft. CONSTITUTION:The inside part of rolling rolls 1A, 1B is divided into plural segments by vertical planes to roll shafts 2A, 2B; gaps 3A, 3B are formed at segmentation positions and function as a thermal insulation layer. Adjacent roll segments independently perform thermal deformation. Roll heaters 4A,4B changing a supplying heat amount in the longitudinal direction of the rolls 1A, 1B are also installed. The heaters 4A, 4B consist of heating units 4A-1..., 4B-1... independently changing a supplying heat amount in accordance with roll segmentaion units 1A-1, 1A-2..., 1B-1, 1B2.... Thus, a thermal distribution in the longitudinal direction of the rolls 1A, 1B is controlled to control a sheet shape by gradually changing a work roll gap in the longitudinal direction of the rolls 1A, 1B.</p> |
