<p>PURPOSE:To gradually change a work roll gap in the roll axial direction, to control a thermal distribution in the longitudinal direction of rolling rolls, and to control a sheet shape by installing roll heaters changing a supplying heat amount in the longitudinal direction of the rolls. CONSTITUTION:Roll heaters 2A, 2B, consisting of plural heating units 2A-1, 2A-2, ...2A-m, 2B-1, 2B-2, ... 2B-n independently changing each supplying heat amount in the longitudinal direction of upper and lower rolling rolls 1A, 1B, are installed closely to the rolls 1A, 1B, respectively. Roll cooler 3A, 3n, consisting of plural cooling units 3A-1, 3A-2, ... 3A-m, 3B-1, 3B-2, ... 3B-n independently changing each heat dissipation amount in the longitudinal direction of the rolls 1A, 1B, are installed closely the rolls 1A, 1B, respectively. The same effect as that of double installation is achieved by shifting phases of those heating and cooling units in the upper and lower positions respectively and the temp. change of the rolls 1A, 1B in the longitudinal direction is made to be the gradual change.</p> |
