PURPOSE:To improve the recording and reproducing sensitivity and to facilitate the coil winding by constituting the titled head by a main magnetic pole clip part opened in a direction opposite to the recording medium, a support block and a magnetic block in the track broadwise direction so as to reduce the magnetic reluctance. CONSTITUTION:A main magnet pole 3 is clipped by the main magnetic pole clip part 3a made of a magnetic substance and a nonmagnetic member 6 with a prescribed thickness and supported by auxiliary magnetic pole blocks 1a, 1b to constitute a supporting block 4. Since a coil wound by the separate process is inserted from the open end of the clip part 3a, the coil space is expanded and the winding process is simplified. The magnetic recording and reproducing circuit consists of a route of main magnetic pole 3 - magnetic layer of recording medium - magnetic block 10 in track broadwise direction - auxiliary magnetic pole block 1 - male magnetic pole 3, the circuit is short-circuited magnetically by the block 10, the magnetic reluctance is decreased and the recording and reproducing sensitivity is improved. |
