REINFORCEMENT-IRON HOLDER FOR USE IN JOINING CAST CONCRETE WORK

The joint between two parts of a concrete structure is reinforced by straight steel rods (5), with U-shaped pieces welded to one end. The reinforcing rods are held in place by long rectangular boxes (1). The boxes have two opposite groups of transverse ribs (4,9) to support the straight portions of the rods and holes (5) for the support of one leg of the U-shaped attachment. The ribs have recesses to hold the rods in place. The boxes are fitted with lids which have the second groups of transverse ribs (9).
