PURPOSE:To shorten the distance between light emitting elements and an image carrier to increase the illuminance and to reduce the number of parts by sticking a casing having window holes to the surface of a substrate, on which respective light emitting elements are directly bonded in the lengthwise direction, and sticking a transparent dustproof film to the casing to constitute an erasing array. CONSTITUTION:A casing 26 having window holes 27 is stuck to the surface of the base, on which respective light emitting elements 25 are directly bonded at a prescribed pitch in the lengthwise direction, and a transparent dustproof film 28 is stuck to the surface of the casing 26 to constitute an erasing array 20. Since the medium through which the light is transmitted between light emitting elements 25 and the image carrier (photosensitive drum) is only the dustproof film 28, the distance between light emitting elements 25 and the image carrier is shortened to increase the illuminance, and the number of parts is reduced. |
