PURPOSE:To obtain a terminal equipment possible to respond to a frequency in use flexibly, by constituting a main body part by providing a switching circuit which houses a function part attachably/detachably freely and switches the connection of the function part. CONSTITUTION:The main body part is constituted of the function parts 2-1-2-n which handles the function of each terminal equipment and is possible to be attached/detached and extended, the switching circuit 5 which selects and connects the function parts 2-1-2-n according to the indication of a control part 4, an interface part 6 which handles an interface with common mechanism parts 15-1-15-m, and the interface part 6-0 of a host computer 20. The control part 4 receives an input signal from the common mechanism parts 15-1-15-m via the interface part 6, and switches the switching circuit 5 so as to perform connection to the function part requested by the common mechanism part. Therefore, it is possible to respond to the frequency in use of the terminal equipment by an easy way to increase/decrease the number of respective function part.
