PURPOSE:To granulate a positive mix, make it possible to weigh the positive mix by means of a volumetric measure for preparing the positive mix to increase the productivity of a battery by wetting the positive mix with fluorine family inactive liquid, then granulating and grading. CONSTITUTION:Fluorine family inactive liquid having a boiling point of 90 deg.C or more is used as the wetting solvent of a positive mix. The fluorine family liquid has fully fluorinated structure, contains no hydrogen and chlorine, and is completely inactive and nonflammable. The total time from granulation of the mix by a granulator to grading of the granules is 0.5-2 hours, and during operation, the granules are exposed to a drying atmosphere. However, since the fluorine family inactive liquid has a high boiling point of 90 deg.C, it does not evaporate in the grading process same as water, and the granules retain particle state during the grading operation. The granulated positive mix having good fluidity can be produced. The positive mix can quickly be weighed in the positive electrode production process, and the productivity of a lithium battery is increased without sacrifice of battery performance. |
