In a radical shaft sealing ring with an elastomer sealing lip (9) for sealing machine parts (3) with respect to a rotating shaft (2), particularly with respect to a shaft rotating eccentrically at a high speed, the sealing lip (9) contains axial reinforcing elements (12) which project axially beyond the radial annular web holding the lip (9). The reinforcing elements (12) are connected in a hinged manner to the end wall reinforcement (8) and have a mass distribution which at least compensates, or if required overcompensates for the acceleration forces. <IMAGE> |
