PURPOSE:To simplifying a calling without seeking a telephone number by storing a name and a telephone number correspondingly, using a character key so as to input a name and its abbreviated symbol, thereby calling the corresponding telephone number and making a calling. CONSTITUTION:The name is inputted at first by using the character key 61. Thus, the name is displayed on a display section 71 and when it is correct, a 'memory' key provided to the character key section 61 is depressed and stored in a memory 2. Then a numeric key 51 is used to input a telephone number. Thus, a telephone number is displayed on the display section 71 and when it is correct, the 'memory' key is depressed to store it corresponding to the name in the memory 2. In making a call, the character key 61 is used to input the name or abbreviated symbol, the 'memory transmission' provided to the character key 61 is depressed. Thus, the name is displayed on the display section 71. When the correct name is represented, the 'transmission key' provided to the numeral key 51 is depressed, a telephone number corresponding to the name is called from the memory 2 and a signal is sent via a communication interface 4.
