PURPOSE:To obtain a base having a contour corresponding to an inner circumferential form of a frame mold and to contrive reduction of a process, by a method wherein a fleece to be obtained by mixing up and interlacing fiber and combining agent with each other is laid within a bottom force of a molding tool constituted of the frame mold and a bottom mold to be fitted into the frame mold slidably in a vertical direction and the fleece is heated and pressed by putting the same between a top and bottom forces. CONSTITUTION:A fleece 14 is laid on a bottom mold 13B in the inside of a bottom force 13 of a molding tool 11. The fleece 14 is obtained by mixing up and interlacing a combining agent composed of phenolic resin of melamine resin or a mixture of them with a synthetic or natural fiber such as a polyester fiber or a polyamide fiber or a reclaimed fiber of them and the fleece 14 may be made into a state where only a surface part is cured through heating, what is called, through a semi-cured state. The fleece 14 is heated and pressed between top and bottom forces 12, 13 to be a base 15. The base 15 is molded like this, and since an inner circumferential form of a frame mold 13A coincides with a desired contour of the base, the base 15 also possesses the contour which conforms with that of the desired base as a matter of cource. Therefore, a trimming process after molding is unnecessary. |
