PURPOSE:To attain automatic call by mean of an abbreviated number even if a connection form is switched from an extension to a line wire by giving a function for discriminating whether a registered telephone number is an extension number or a line wire number, and a function for switching and setting an extension connection and a line wire connection. CONSTITUTION:At the time of automatic call, an abbreviated telephone number call designating switch 9 is depressed, and a communication switch 10 is depressed after the abbreviated telephone number is inputted by ten key 3. When an extension connection/line wire connection change-over switch 4 is set to the side of the extension connection, data of the code registration area discriminating line wire telephone number in telephone number registration data is checked, and correspondingly a call instruction signal is outputted to a call circuit part 11. When the extension connection/line wire connection change-over switch 4 is set to the side of the line wire connection, and data of the code registration area discriminating line wire telephone number in telephone number registration data is '1', only the subsequent telephone number is outputted to the call circuit part 11 as a call commanding signal.
