PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous response by informing that an acquired trunk line is receiving an incoming call to a telephone set which acquires the trunk line just after the incoming call of the trunk line in a speech by a speech synthesis device. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming request is issued from the trunk line 3 a central controller 6 detects it and connects the trunk line 3 which issues the request with the speech path 5 of the telephone set 1 and at the same time it lights a trunk line lamp in a trunk line indicator 7, which receives the incoming call. And also the incoming ringing tone of the telephone set 1 is rung so as to inform a user that the incoming call of the trunk line is obtained. Next, if the central controller 6 detects that the user makes the telephone set 1 off/hook within one second after detecting the incoming request, the speech path 5 between the trunk line 3 and the telephone set 1 is disconnected and the telephone set 1 is connected to the speech path 5 of the speech synthesis device 8 so as to inform the user that the incoming call of the trunk line is executed in a speech. Thus, the erroneous response of the user can be securely prevented.
