<p>A sun visor for vehicles is disclosed which has a cushioning sun visor body surrounded by a cover layer and stiffened by an incorporated reinforcement insert. At one end of one of the longitudinal edges of the body, a support shaft is mounted with one end in the body and the other end held by a swivel bearing. At the other end of the same longitudinal edge, a support pin is mounted extending across a recess defined in that edge. The support pin is approximately parallel to that longitudinal edge and can be detachably engaged with the support receiver of an outer support. The support pin is formed, in whole or in part, of a plastic body which is injection molded directly onto a region of the cover layer.</p> |
