PURPOSE:To obtain an economical line connector for picture system by providing a frame memory storing a still picture selected by a request of a terminal equipment corresponding to a terminal equipment and providing a video switch between each frame memory and its relevant terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:A center CPU 11 selects a moving picture or the like on request from a moving picture file 12, a still picture file 13 and an audio file 14 and sends the result to the line connector 1. In case of the moving picture, the input of the selected moving picture and a calling terminal equipment 17 are connected via an analog video switch 2 corresponding to the terminal equipment. On the other hand, in case of the still picture, the still picture input and the terminal equipment 17 are connected via an AD converter 22, a frame memory 21 corresponding to a terminal equipment, a DA converter 24 and an analog video switch 2. Thus, the remarkable economy is attained.
