PURPOSE:To select the automatic mode for the adjusting device as soon as power is applied by devising the titled device such that the adjusting device is brought into automatic adjusting state without fail by a switching signal from a flip-flop circuit after application of power. CONSTITUTION:In applying a power switch 1 to start a video camera, a reset pulse generating circuit 2 generates a reset pulse interlocking therewith to reset a microcomputer 11 controlling the operation of a video camera into the initial state. The reset pulse is fed to a flip-flop circuit 5 via an OR circuit 3 as a trigger pulse simultaneously. The succeeding trigger pulse is generated by the operation of the auto/manu changeover switch 4.
