<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an output picture from being changed in a mosaic shape and to obtain a smoothly magnified or reduced picture, by providing a circuit which interpolates a data missed at the time of magnifying an timage according to a magnification rate. CONSTITUTION:When the magnification rates M are applied on frequency demultiplying circuits 110 and 112 by a magnification rate setting register 102, a reference dot clock CK0 and a reference line clock CK1 are frequency- demultiplied by 1/M respectively and a readout dot clock CK4 and a readout line clock CK5 are generated. By taking out a data from a frame memory 109 based on a readout clock signal, and interpolating 114 a value between the data in a horizontal and a vertical directions, then, D/A converting 115, the data in the frame memory 109 can be magnified by M times. In such a way, it is possible to prevent the output picture in a unit of block of M XM picture elements from being changed in the mosaic shape, and to obtain the smoothly magnified and reduced picture.</p> |
