PURPOSE:To realize the execution of a software as long as no connector box is available by utilizing the idle pin terminal of a standard interface to secure the attachable/detachable connection of the connector box incorporating a ROM and connecting cables via the connector box. CONSTITUTION:The connector box 4 incorporating the ROM 3 is fitted freely attachably and detachably to the connector 2 of a standard interface of an equipment main body. A data bus 9 is connected to the ROM 3 via a reading I/O port 8 by means of an idle pin terminal When the desired software is carried out, a program is loaded from an external magnetic memory medium, then the program is executed and the ROM 3 is read. Thus it is checked whether or not the read number is coincident with the loaded program number. Then the software is carried out when the coincidence is obtained between both numbers and not carried out when no said coincidence is obtained. |
