PURPOSE:To satisfactorily discharge a developer by providing a vibration means which vibrates the developer transported to the discharging exit side by a transporting means and preventing the developer from being solidified even if a large quantity of developer is transported to the discharging exit side. CONSTITUTION:Toner remaining on a photosensitive drum 2 is scraped by a cleaning blade 32 and is transported toward a casing by rotation of a toner recovery auger 33. When a cover body is opened, this toner transported toward the casing is dropped and discharged from the discharging exit by gravity. In this case, a pin body 42 projecting in the end part of the toner recovery auger 33 is brought into contact with a flat spring 40 in the casing to vibrate the flat spring 40 each time when the toner recovery auger 33 is rotated once. The toner in the casing is shocked by this vibration of the flat spring 40 and is satisfactorily discharged from the discharging exit without being solidified in the casing. |
