PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body having excellent stability by incorporating nonmetallic phthalocyanine and specific compd. into a layer contg. a carrier generating material and binder material. CONSTITUTION:The nonmetallic phthalocyanine, the main peak of the Bragg angle 2theta of which with a CuKalpha characteristic X-ray (1.541Angstrom wavelength) exists at least at 7.5 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., 9.1 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., 16.7 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., 17.3 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., and 22.3 deg.+ or -0.2 deg. and the compd. expressed by formula I are incorporated into the layer contg. the carrier generating material and the binder material. In formula, R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<5>, and R<6> are respectively a hydrogen atom, substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkenyl group, etc., R<7>-R<10> are respectively a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, hydroxy group, substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group, etc. The photosensitive body which has sufficient sensitivity to light of relatively long wavelengths such as semiconductor laser light, can be operated with positive electric charge, produces ozone particularly in a smaller amt. and can maintain good environmental conditions is thereby obtd. |
