PURPOSE:To eliminate bleeding, by a method wherein recording data representing a dot image is divided into even-numbered alignments and odd-numbered alignments, and a recording is carried out only on either the even-numbered alignments or the odd-numbered alignments in color-mixture recording. CONSTITUTION:Even-numbered outputs Y00KV, M00KV, C00KV, and BK00, which are obtained by a conversion circuit CC0, are written on addressed direction by registers AR0-AR3. Odd-numbered outputs Y00OD, M00OD, and C00OD are written on addresses directed by registers AR4-AR6. The value 1 is added to the values of the respective address registers, and 1 is subtracted from the value of a length counter. By repeating the aforesaid operation until the value of the length counter is reduced to 0, recording data is obtained. After the conversion processing is completed, a microprocessor 3 drives recording heads 12-15 by transmitting alternately the even-numbered output data of the recording data and the odd-numbered output data to head controllers 8-11, and a recording is obtained on a recording paper. In this manner, the recording data corresponding to a dot image is divided into even-numbered alignments and odd-numbered alignments, and only the even-numbered alignment data is allowed to drive the recording heads in color-mixture recording, whereby a good recording without bleeding can be obtained. |
